1. INTRODUCTION The ‘Swami Rama Himalayan University’ is established by the Uttarakhand Act No. 12 of 2013 and came into existence vide Notification No. 101/12/xxiv(6)/2013 dated 12th March, 2013 issued by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand. The University is promoted by the ‘Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust’ (HIHT), a society registered under Society Registration Act 1860 and founded by HH. Dr. Swami Rama of the Himalayas, a great visionary, sage and humanitarian. For further details about the University please visit our website www.srhu.edu.in. The University invites application from the eligible candidates for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) programme conducted by its constituent medical college, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2016 - 17.

1.1 ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences is the pioneer Post-Graduate Medical Institute in Uttarakhand State since 2001 with an unique model of education in the country. Emphasis is on community oriented medical education focusing on preventive, promotive, curative health care, evolving a new pattern of medical education and health care by incorporating a spiritual basis of life in relation to health and modern technology and training students in the science and art of medicine, matching with international standards. The Institute is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas on the Dehradun – Rishikesh Highway, 25 kms from Dehradun and 18 kms from Rishikesh. The Institute presently has a 750 bedded multi speciality Hospital along with residences for Doctors and Staff. The College has separate hostels and vegetarian mess facilities for boys and girls inside the campus and provides excellent accommodation to all students. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for every student. The duration of M.B.B.S. programme will be four and a half years followed by one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The curriculum is based on the directives of the Medical council of India.

 2. DEFINITIONS (i) “PMEE” means Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (ii) “SRHU” means Swami Rama Himalayan University. (iii) “Qualifying Examination” means Examinations on the result of which the candidate becomes eligible to apply for the Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (iv) “Eligible Candidates” means a candidate, who satisfies the requirement of eligibility as given in PMEE-2016 Information Brochure. (v) “Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes” means Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes as specified and laid down by the Government of India or any of the states/UTs Government. (vi) “Physically Handicapped” means Physically Handicapped person as specified and laid down by the Government of India.
3. BAN ON RAGGING The Campus of the University is ragging free. Definition : Ragging means causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student whether by way of a practical joke or otherwise to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his person or exposes him to ridicule or to forbear from doing any lawful act by intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully containing or injuring him or by using criminal force on him or by holding out to him any threat of such intimidation, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force. Supreme court of India has defined ragging as a criminal offence. Warning: No leniency will be shown to the offenders involved in ragging. All students are requested to note and co-operate in keeping the University and its constituent colleges free from ragging. PMEE -2016(2)

  4. SEATS AVAILABLE The total number of seats available for M.B.B.S. programme is 150 (One Hundred fifty) for the academic session 2016-17. Seat Allocation Policy & Distribution Permanent Residents of the state of Uttarakhand (40% Seats) All India Category (60% Seats) Total Seats Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU Through UPMT – 2016 Conducted by Uttarakhand Government Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU 150 (35 Seats) (25 Seats) (90 Seats) (i) 40% seats are reserved for candidates, who are permanent residents of the state of Uttarakhand. If these reserved seats remain vacant, then the said vacant seats shall be filled by All India category candidates, who have qualified in PMEE-2016 conducted by the University. (ii) For the reserved seats as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above, the University shall comply with the State Government reservation policy as amended/applicable from time to time. (iii) 26% rebate in the tuition fees only shall be given to the candidates, who are admitted under Permanent Resident category as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above. (iv) Under the Physically handicapped category, only the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs (as per M.C.I. regulations) shall be considered.

 5. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

5.1 AGE (i) Only those candidates, who have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of their admission to the first year of M.B.B.S. programme are eligible to apply. Only Date of Birth recorded in the High School / I.C.S.E. or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. (ii) The upper age limit shall be 25 yrs as on 31st December of the year of entrance examination. 5.2 QUALIFICATION AND MINIMUM MARKS (i) For Passed Candidates : The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. I.S.C./ intermediate examination, or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/State Board etc), the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and mathematics or any other elective subject with English individually and must have obtained: a) A minimum of exact 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology, taken together. & b) A minimum of exact 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 40%) marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying
(ii) For Appearing Candidates : A candidate, who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th standard in 2016, whose result is awaited is also eligible to appear in the PMEE – 2016, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S. programme, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above at the time of first round of Counseling. If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to take the PMEE - 2016 in violation of the admission requirements (eligibility criteria), he/she cannot, at a later date claim that he/she meets the eligibility criteria. 7. PATTERN OF PMEE - 2016 The Entrance Examination (PMEE -2016) will comprise of an objective type test of 200 Questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics – 40 questions, Chemistry – 60 questions and Biology (Botany & Zoology) – 100 questions, to be answered on the specially designed Computerized (OMR) answer sheet using Black Ball Point Pen only. The duration of the examination would be 150 minutes (2 hours & 30 minutes). LANGUAGE OF THE QUESTION PAPER The Question paper will be in English only. PMEE -2016(4)

 8. SYLLABUS FOR PMEE - 2016 The syllabus for entrance examination will be as per the 10+2 examination (C.B.S.E. / I.S.C. / Uttarakhand Board or their equivalent)

. 9. SCHEDULE OF PMEE - 2016 The Pre–Medical Entrance Examination – 2016 will be held on: • Date : 22th May, 2016 (Sunday) • Time: 10:00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. 

10. CENTRES FOR PMEE – 2016 List of cities where Pre – Medical Entrance Examination – 2016 will be conducted is given in Appendix – II. The Candidate must make his/her own arrangements to reach the Examination centre well in advance. 11. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM AND PAYMENT OF FEE A Candidate can apply for the Pre-Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE) - 2016 Online by logging onto website : www.srhu.edu.in Candidate must download the Information Brochure and read it carefully to understand eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of application form. After submitting the Online Application form, applicant will be redirected to SBI Collect Online Payment page. Before submitting the online application form, make the following preparations (i) Candidates should have scanned images of his/her latest (a) Photograph: Recent high contrast colored passport size photograph with white background (taken after 01/Dec/2015) indicating clearly name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph as per the sample given: Spectacles are allowed, if being used regularly (cap and goggles are not allowed). Polaroid & computer generated photos are not acceptable. Application not complying with these instructions or without clear photographs is liable to be rejected. (SAMPLE) (b) Signature : It should be clear and in running handwriting, preferably with a black sketch pen. Writing full name in capital letters would not be accepted as signature and application form would be liable for rejection. Scanned images should be in JPG format only, of size between 10 to 200kb for photograph and between 10 to 100kb for signature (for uploading as part of submission of online application). (ii) Decide the payment method (Net banking/credit/debit card through SBI Collect Online Payment page) for paying ` 2000 + transaction charges as applicable (for NRI/PIO Candidates : US $75 + Transaction Charges as applicable) as the online application fee. (iii) If a Candidate submits more than one Application form his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and the application fee paid shall not be refunded. (iv) Once a candidate submits the online application, he/she shall not be allowed to change any of the details given the application form. 1. INTRODUCTION The ‘Swami Rama Himalayan University’ is established by the Uttarakhand Act No. 12 of 2013 and came into existence vide Notification No. 101/12/xxiv(6)/2013 dated 12th March, 2013 issued by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand. The University is promoted by the ‘Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust’ (HIHT), a society registered under Society Registration Act 1860 and founded by HH. Dr. Swami Rama of the Himalayas, a great visionary, sage and humanitarian. For further details about the University please visit our website www.srhu.edu.in. The University invites application from the eligible candidates for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) programme conducted by its constituent medical college, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2016 - 17.

1.1 ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences is the pioneer Post-Graduate Medical Institute in Uttarakhand State since 2001 with an unique model of education in the country. Emphasis is on community oriented medical education focusing on preventive, promotive, curative health care, evolving a new pattern of medical education and health care by incorporating a spiritual basis of life in relation to health and modern technology and training students in the science and art of medicine, matching with international standards. The Institute is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas on the Dehradun – Rishikesh Highway, 25 kms from Dehradun and 18 kms from Rishikesh. The Institute presently has a 750 bedded multi speciality Hospital along with residences for Doctors and Staff. The College has separate hostels and vegetarian mess facilities for boys and girls inside the campus and provides excellent accommodation to all students. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for every student. The duration of M.B.B.S. programme will be four and a half years followed by one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The curriculum is based on the directives of the Medical council of India.

 2. DEFINITIONS (i) “PMEE” means Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (ii) “SRHU” means Swami Rama Himalayan University. (iii) “Qualifying Examination” means Examinations on the result of which the candidate becomes eligible to apply for the Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (iv) “Eligible Candidates” means a candidate, who satisfies the requirement of eligibility as given in PMEE-2016 Information Brochure. (v) “Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes” means Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes as specified and laid down by the Government of India or any of the states/UTs Government. (vi) “Physically Handicapped” means Physically Handicapped person as specified and laid down by the Government of India.
3. BAN ON RAGGING The Campus of the University is ragging free. Definition : Ragging means causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student whether by way of a practical joke or otherwise to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his person or exposes him to ridicule or to forbear from doing any lawful act by intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully containing or injuring him or by using criminal force on him or by holding out to him any threat of such intimidation, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force. Supreme court of India has defined ragging as a criminal offence. Warning: No leniency will be shown to the offenders involved in ragging.   4. SEATS AVAILABLE The total number of seats available for M.B.B.S. programme is 150 (One Hundred fifty) for the academic session 2016-17. Seat Allocation Policy & Distribution Permanent Residents of the state of Uttarakhand (40% Seats) All India Category (60% Seats) Total Seats Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU Through UPMT – 2016 Conducted by Uttarakhand Government Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU 150 (35 Seats) (25 Seats) (90 Seats) (i) 40% seats are reserved for candidates, who are permanent residents of the state of Uttarakhand. If these reserved seats remain vacant, then the said vacant seats shall be filled by All India category candidates, who have qualified in PMEE-2016 conducted by the University. (ii) For the reserved seats as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above, the University shall comply with the State Government reservation policy as amended/applicable from time to time. (iii) 26% rebate in the tuition fees only shall be given to the candidates, who are admitted under Permanent Resident category as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above. (iv) Under the Physically handicapped category, only the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs (as per M.C.I. regulations) shall be considered.

 5. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

5.1 AGE (i) Only those candidates, who have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of their admission to the first year of M.B.B.S. programme are eligible to apply. Only Date of Birth recorded in the High School / I.C.S.E. or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. (ii) The upper age limit shall be 25 yrs as on 31st December of the year of entrance examination. 5.2 QUALIFICATION AND MINIMUM MARKS (i) For Passed Candidates : The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. I.S.C./ intermediate examination, or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/State Board etc), the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and mathematics or any other elective subject with English individually and must have obtained: a) A minimum of exact 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology, taken together. & b) A minimum of exact 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 40%) marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying
(ii) For Appearing Candidates : A candidate, who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th standard in 2016, whose result is awaited is also eligible to appear in the PMEE – 2016, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S. programme, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above at the time of first round of Counseling. If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to take the PMEE - 2016 in violation of the admission requirements (eligibility criteria), he/she cannot, at a later date claim that he/she meets the eligibility criteria. 7. PATTERN OF PMEE - 2016 The Entrance Examination (PMEE -2016) will comprise of an objective type test of 200 Questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics – 40 questions, Chemistry – 60 questions and Biology (Botany & Zoology) – 100 questions, to be answered on the specially designed Computerized (OMR) answer sheet using Black Ball Point Pen only. The duration of the examination would be 150 minutes (2 hours & 30 minutes). LANGUAGE OF THE QUESTION PAPER The Question paper will be in English only. PMEE -2016(4)

 8. SYLLABUS FOR PMEE - 2016 The syllabus for entrance examination will be as per the 10+2 examination (C.B.S.E. / I.S.C. / Uttarakhand Board or their equivalent)

. 9. SCHEDULE OF PMEE - 2016 The Pre–Medical Entrance Examination – 2016 will be held on: • Date : 22th May, 2016 (Sunday) • Time: 10:00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. 

10. CENTRES FOR PMEE – 2016 List of cities where Pre – Medical Entrance Examination – 2016 will be conducted is given in Appendix – II. The Candidate must make his/her own arrangements to reach the Examination centre well in advance. 11. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM AND PAYMENT OF FEE A Candidate can apply for the Pre-Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE) - 2016 Online by logging onto website : www.srhu.edu.in Candidate must download the Information Brochure and read it carefully to understand eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of application form. After submitting the Online Application form, applicant will be redirected to SBI Collect Online Payment page. Before submitting the online application form, make the following preparations (i) Candidates should have scanned images of his/her latest (a) Photograph: Recent high contrast colored passport size photograph with white background (taken after 01/Dec/2015) indicating clearly name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph as per the sample given: Spectacles are allowed, if being used regularly (cap and goggles are not allowed). Polaroid & computer generated photos are not acceptable. Application not complying with these instructions or without clear photographs is liable to be rejected. (SAMPLE) (b) Signature : It should be clear and in running handwriting, preferably with a black sketch pen. Writing full name in capital letters would not be accepted as signature and application form would be liable for rejection. Scanned images should be in JPG format only, of size between 10 to 200kb for photograph and between 10 to 100kb for signature (for uploading as part of submission of online application). (ii) Decide the payment method (Net banking/credit/debit card through SBI Collect Online Payment page) for paying ` 2000 + transaction charges as applicable (for NRI/PIO Candidates : US $75 + Transaction Charges as applicable) as the online application fee. (iii) If a Candidate submits more than one Application form his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and the application fee paid shall not be refunded. (iv) Once a candidate submits the online application, he/she shall not be allowed to change any of the details given the application form. 1. INTRODUCTION The ‘Swami Rama Himalayan University’ is established by the Uttarakhand Act No. 12 of 2013 and came into existence vide Notification No. 101/12/xxiv(6)/2013 dated 12th March, 2013 issued by the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand. The University is promoted by the ‘Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust’ (HIHT), a society registered under Society Registration Act 1860 and founded by HH. Dr. Swami Rama of the Himalayas, a great visionary, sage and humanitarian. For further details about the University please visit our website www.srhu.edu.in. The University invites application from the eligible candidates for admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) programme conducted by its constituent medical college, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year 2016 - 17.

1.1 ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences is the pioneer Post-Graduate Medical Institute in Uttarakhand State since 2001 with an unique model of education in the country. Emphasis is on community oriented medical education focusing on preventive, promotive, curative health care, evolving a new pattern of medical education and health care by incorporating a spiritual basis of life in relation to health and modern technology and training students in the science and art of medicine, matching with international standards. The Institute is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas on the Dehradun – Rishikesh Highway, 25 kms from Dehradun and 18 kms from Rishikesh. The Institute presently has a 750 bedded multi speciality Hospital along with residences for Doctors and Staff. The College has separate hostels and vegetarian mess facilities for boys and girls inside the campus and provides excellent accommodation to all students. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for every student. The duration of M.B.B.S. programme will be four and a half years followed by one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The curriculum is based on the directives of the Medical council of India.

 2. DEFINITIONS (i) “PMEE” means Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (ii) “SRHU” means Swami Rama Himalayan University. (iii) “Qualifying Examination” means Examinations on the result of which the candidate becomes eligible to apply for the Pre – Medical Entrance Examination. (iv) “Eligible Candidates” means a candidate, who satisfies the requirement of eligibility as given in PMEE-2016 Information Brochure. (v) “Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes” means Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes as specified and laid down by the Government of India or any of the states/UTs Government. (vi) “Physically Handicapped” means Physically Handicapped person as specified and laid down by the Government of India.
3. BAN ON RAGGING The Campus of the University is ragging free. Definition : Ragging means causing, inducing, compelling or forcing a student whether by way of a practical joke or otherwise to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his person or exposes him to ridicule or to forbear from doing any lawful act by intimidating, wrongfully restraining, wrongfully containing or injuring him or by using criminal force on him or by holding out to him any threat of such intimidation, wrongful restraint, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force. Supreme court of India has defined ragging as a criminal offence. Warning: No leniency will be shown to the offenders involved in ragging. All students are requested to note and co-operate in keeping the University and its constituent colleges free from ragging. PMEE -2016(2)

  4. SEATS AVAILABLE The total number of seats available for M.B.B.S. programme is 150 (One Hundred fifty) for the academic session 2016-17. Seat Allocation Policy & Distribution Permanent Residents of the state of Uttarakhand (40% Seats) All India Category (60% Seats) Total Seats Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU Through UPMT – 2016 Conducted by Uttarakhand Government Through PMEE – 2016 Conducted by SRHU 150 (35 Seats) (25 Seats) (90 Seats) (i) 40% seats are reserved for candidates, who are permanent residents of the state of Uttarakhand. If these reserved seats remain vacant, then the said vacant seats shall be filled by All India category candidates, who have qualified in PMEE-2016 conducted by the University. (ii) For the reserved seats as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above, the University shall comply with the State Government reservation policy as amended/applicable from time to time. (iii) 26% rebate in the tuition fees only shall be given to the candidates, who are admitted under Permanent Resident category as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above. (iv) Under the Physically handicapped category, only the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs (as per M.C.I. regulations) shall be considered.

 5. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

5.1 AGE (i) Only those candidates, who have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of their admission to the first year of M.B.B.S. programme are eligible to apply. Only Date of Birth recorded in the High School / I.C.S.E. or its equivalent certificate will be accepted. (ii) The upper age limit shall be 25 yrs as on 31st December of the year of entrance examination. 5.2 QUALIFICATION AND MINIMUM MARKS (i) For Passed Candidates : The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. I.S.C./ intermediate examination, or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/State Board etc), the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and mathematics or any other elective subject with English individually and must have obtained: a) A minimum of exact 60% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 50%) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology, taken together. & b) A minimum of exact 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exact 40%) marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying
(ii) For Appearing Candidates : A candidate, who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th standard in 2016, whose result is awaited is also eligible to appear in the PMEE – 2016, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S. programme, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks as mentioned in sub-clause (i) above at the time of first round of Counseling. If an applicant is inadvertently allowed to take the PMEE - 2016 in violation of the admission requirements (eligibility criteria), he/she cannot, at a later date claim that he/she meets the eligibility criteria. 7. PATTERN OF PMEE - 2016 The Entrance Examination (PMEE -2016) will comprise of an objective type test of 200 Questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics – 40 questions, Chemistry – 60 questions and Biology (Botany & Zoology) – 100 questions, to be answered on the specially designed Computerized (OMR) answer sheet using Black Ball Point Pen only. The duration of the examination would be 150 minutes (2 hours & 30 minutes). LANGUAGE OF THE QUESTION PAPER The Question paper will be in English only. PMEE -2016(4)

 8. SYLLABUS FOR PMEE - 2016 The syllabus for entrance examination will be as per the 10+2 examination (C.B.S.E. / I.S.C. / Uttarakhand Board or their equivalent)

. 9. SCHEDULE OF PMEE - 2016 The Pre–Medical Entrance Examination – 2016 will be held on: • Date : 22th May, 2016 (Sunday) • Time: 10:00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.

The Candidate must make his/her own arrangements to reach the Examination centre well in advance. 11. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM AND PAYMENT OF FEE A Candidate can apply for the Pre-Medical Entrance Examination (PMEE) - 2016 Online by logging onto website : www.srhu.edu.in Candidate must download the Information Brochure and read it carefully to understand eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of application form. After submitting the Online Application form, applicant will be redirected to SBI Collect Online Payment page. Before submitting the online application form, make the following preparations (i) Candidates should have scanned images of his/her latest (a) Photograph: Recent high contrast colored passport size photograph with white background (taken after 01/Dec/2015) indicating clearly name of candidate along with the date of taking the photograph as per the sample given: Spectacles are allowed, if being used regularly (cap and goggles are not allowed). Polaroid & computer generated photos are not acceptable. Application not complying with these instructions or without clear photographs is liable to be rejected. (SAMPLE) (b) Signature : It should be clear and in running handwriting, preferably with a black sketch pen. Writing full name in capital letters would not be accepted as signature and application form would be liable for rejection. Scanned images should be in JPG format only, of size between 10 to 200kb for photograph and between 10 to 100kb for signature (for uploading as part of submission of online application). (ii) Decide the payment method (Net banking/credit/debit card through SBI Collect Online Payment page) for paying ` 2000 + transaction charges as applicable (for NRI/PIO Candidates : US $75 + Transaction Charges as applicable) as the online application fee. (iii) If a Candidate submits more than one Application form his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and the application fee paid shall not be refunded. (iv) Once a candidate submits the online application, he/she shall not be allowed to change any of the details given the application form.
